Philanthropy

As one of Phi Delta Epsilon's guiding principles, philanthropy is priority of the fraternity. Phi Delta Epsilon's national philanthropy organization is Children's Miracle Network. Each chapter is paired with one of over 170 CMN children's hospitals, raises at least $1,000 for its patients, and participates in in two services projects this hospital each year.

The Cornell Chapter is paired with State University of New York (SUNY) Upstate Medical Center's Golisano Children's Hospital in Syracuse, NY.

In the past, we have organized a variety of events to support the pediatric patients in Syracuse including the following:

Trivia Nights

Bake Sales

Local sponsorships (i.e. Yogurt Crazy)

Kaplan prep course raffles

Concerts

Dodgeball tournaments

and so much more!!

Starting in 2015, Phi Delta Epsilon co-sponsored Cornell's first annual Big Red Thon:

Thon is a nationwide movement at more than 300 schools raising money for Children's Miracle Network Hospitals. Big Red Thon is Cornell University's very own Dance Marathon started in 2015.
