No, as a pre-medical chapter within an international medical fraternity, we restrict membership to applicants planning to attend medical school after graduating
Do I need to be a certain major to join PhiDE?​
​
No! Across our fraternity, there is a large diversity of majors and interests. We welcome pre-medical students of all majors.
What do the PhiDE greek letters stand for?​

Who is Phi Delta Epsilon's national philanthropy organization?​

Phi Delta Epsilon's national philanthropy organization is Children's Miracle Network.
Who is the Cornell Chapter's philanthropy organization?​

The Cornell Chapter is paired with State University of New York (SUNY) Upstate Medical Center's Golisano Children's Hospital in Syracuse, NY.
Do I need a specific GPA to join PhiDE?​
​
Yes, we only accept applicants who have a GPA of at least 3.2
What is rush like?​
​
PhiDE hosts numerous activities every rush cycle so that current members can get to know applicants. Some of these activities include group coffee chats, meet and greet, and a philanthropy event. At the end of this process, there are formal interviews in which the applicants with the most passion and drive to one day become a physician will recieve membership into the fraternity.
